What is Prana Power Yoga?

Prana Power Yoga is a mind-body-spirit connecting practice. Each mindful movement is lead by breath, with the implementation of methodology from Traditional Chinese Medicine’s Meridian System. The sequence includes strength and stamina building postures, meditation and pranayama, as well as balancing and releasing postures. Prana Power Yoga is a style of yoga anchored in the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga, with some sequence modifications to keep your practice safe.

Prana Power Yoga teaches you how to unite your physical body to your more subtle bodies. Students of our Prana Power Yoga Bootcamp will study the PPY Sequence, containing over 50 yoga postures, including the physical, energetic and emotional anatomy of each pose, modification, prop usage and contraindication.

Choose one week or two weeks.

Participate as a student or get your Internationally Accredited Power Yoga Teacher Certificate.


One week tuition: 1,199 (100 hours)

Two week tuition: 2,250 (200 hours)


100 Hour participants may attain their second 100 hours to get their 200 hour yoga teacher training certification through any 100 hour program offered at Virtual Prana.


THE SCHEDULE


Daily Schedule: 5am - 7pm


500 am Rise and Shine Meditation & Pranayama @ Playa Negra Yoga

530 am Silent meditation walk to the beach & power yoga on the beach

700 am Beach view breakfast @ Hotel Playa Negra

900 am Module study at Playa Negra Yoga Studio

1200 pm Lunch break with assignments

300 pm Power yoga practice at Playa Negra Yoga Studio

500 pm Yin yoga & meditation on the beach

630 pm Closing candle lit practice @ Playa Negra Yoga Studio


January 13

Opening breakfast; program begins at 700 am at Hotel Playa Negra, followed by the regular schedule with meeting at 900 am at Playa Negra Yoga


January 25

We will gather for a full moon fire ceremony on the beach


January 27

We will close with a delicious dinner and acknowledgements at five-star French restaurant Villa Deveena

POWER YOGA BOOTCAMP MODULES


BEYOND THE PHYSICAL

The 7 Bodies Method: Connecting from your physical body to your subtle bodies: mind, emotions, energies and spirit. How to detect unhealthy patterns and shift them into new powerful patterns to help you live a life you love.  Deepen your knowledge of your core values, and soul purpose.


ACENDED WISDOM

You will study excerpts from the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita and learn how to infuse this ancient wisdom into your modern day life and your teaching. You will also study the Koshas, and theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine.  You will learn how to incorporate this knowledge into your Power Yoga classes & sequences.


POWER YOGA LAB

Study Hali Love’s primary power yoga sequence; anchored in the primary sequence of Ashtanga Yoga.  Includes the posture lab of the 50 power yoga postures: Study the physical, energetic and emotional anatomy of each posture, how to modify, contraindications and prop usage.


YOU - THE POWERFUL TEACHER

Learn our tested Powerful Teaching Techniques which are anchored in effective communication skills.  Learn how to market your Prana Power Yoga Classes, how to create and structure your own sequences, and how to theme your classes.


INTEGRATION

Create your customised strategy to infuse your new knowledge into your life.  Includes one post training follow up call with our certified personal development facilitator. This is important, as big shifts happen during these immersions.  You will be skilfully guided to incorporate a solid action plan to bring your changes into your life at home.
