About Wellness Meditation & Yoga Nidra
Meditation brings a plethora of scientifically proven benefits to the practitioners life and health. This program will teach you simple meditation techniques that you can use to enhance your life and spread the many benefits to others.
There are a vast variety of meditation techniques. This training is in what we call: Non-denominational Meditation - meaning it will deepen any defined spiritual connection or faith; rather than interfere with conflicting philosophies. This training is anchored in The 7 Bodies Method, a curated healing modality created by Hali Love. During this training you will learn over 25 meditation scripts, including both a regular and advanced Yoga Nidra Script.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Nidra is a Sanskrit word that translates to “sleep”. Western science proves that a 30-40 minute practice of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 - 6 hours of deep sleep. Yoga Nidra is a blend of meditation and light hypnosis that guides the practitioner through a script that purposefully rests certain parts of the brain, while activating other parts. The result is deep relaxation and healing. (You will receive a deeper explanation in your training!).
Practice and Facilitate Anywhere!
The beautiful part of meditation (and Yoga Nidra) is that it can be practiced anywhere, at any time. As an accredited Meditation and Yoga Nidra Facilitator, you will be able to successfully guide both individuals and groups to experience the power of meditation. Imagine contributing to a busy companies corporate wellness program. Imagine connecting to clients from around the globe. Imagine the community you could create! Imagine living a more grounded and connected life. Imagine pulling over during rush hour (in a safe place of course!), and listening to one of your very own meditations to create an immediate feeling of peace. Imagine plugging in your AirPods as you climb a ski hill in the chair lift to listen to a two minute course meditation before you head down the slopes! Imagine sitting on the beach meditating while listening to the waves. Imagine offering meditation and yoga nidra as part of an individuals healing program as they navigate their way through treatment for physical or mental illness.
Who is this training for?
This training is for anyone who has a curiosity or love for meditation, mindfulness and for helping others. You do not have to have any previous experience or certifications for this program.
Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive your 20 Hour Wellness Meditation Certificate, which for certified yoga teachers can be registered with the International Yoga Alliance for Continuing Education Credits. To receive your certification, you are required to successfully teach one 45 minute Yoga Nidra and 3 different meditation scripts.
